Decisions, decisions...

"Man does not simply exist, but always decides what his existence will be, what he will become in the next moment."

So, I "decided" not to do a letter today as I think there are more important stuffs to be taken care of. Well, for all my life, my parents have made a lot of decisions for me, from music to where to study during school years. They've let go for quite a while now. From the moment I started making decisions is probably when I told them I wanted to learn the Cello which I regret stopping it for the time being as I really have a lot of things to juggle. It gets really tiring. Learning 3 instruments at the same time is quite hard, for me.

The biggest decision I've ever made is the one I'm living now. Coming to New Zealand. This is 100% my choice, my decision, my will and my dream. My parents just simply support me. So, anyone who doesn't know this and blame my parents sending me here, you got it mistaken. This is my choice. My decision.

So now I come to another time to make yet another decision. Now, this is probably as major as the New Zealand decision. People who knew me will of course acknowledge that I've been playing the piano since forever. Not bragging, but I am pretty good at it. Note: Not bragging. I have a little history with piano. ABRSM High Scorers, KK Music Fest 1st Runner Up for Classical Category and judge by Mr.Bobby himself. He's a famous pianist. So yea, now I'm coming to a decision of giving it up after Grade 8 exam. Well, I seriously dunno if I'm gonna pass my Grade 8 exam as it's not easy. But, that's for another time. I need advice? Should I stop? For me personally, Grade 8 is quite enough for me as I have no intention of continuing on with my Music studies *sadly. Music has once been my passion, but I figured I'm not really the Master of it. Lost my passion somewhere.

My opinion is I would stop unless I fail my Grade 8.

Good news, I got reply from AUT University.

Good afternoon Nathalie,
Thank you for your email. Applications from International Students who are studying at a New Zealand high school and will be applying for entry through NCEA are generally treated the same as applications (although you do use a different application form) from domestic students. The exceptions are Health Sciences and Education (teaching) which require an IELTS result in addition to NCEA.
Feel free to email me with the details of the programme you are interested in applying for and I will let you know exactly what the entry requirements are.
Kind regards,
Shauna O'Malley

So... I've been contacting them. And... Kinda good news ae?

XOXO,
Nathalie
