"There are really only three things to learn in skiing: how to put on your skis, how to slide downhill, and how to walk along the hospital corridor."

That quote literally sums up my whole ski trip! The trip started off really, well, fun I guess. To me it was kinda boring cause I only slept on the bus and went to the Prawn Farm to eat the most delicious prawn chowder in the world :D. *Probably that's the best part of the trip. Next, we went to play some golf and man was I stupid, I kept swinging the golf stick but never ever hit the ball. Never! And after I swing it, I would look far away thinking I would have hit the ball but when I look down at my feet, it's still right there! This is so frustrating :\. My brother is so much better than me.
We went to the Hot Pools next. No pictures taken during that time. Much apologies. Had fun as well. Winter swimming is definitely the most epic thing I've done. So frigging cold. Brrreeeelllhhhh... *shivers. Next stop, Bungy Jump. Don't worry, I didn't do it. Hahahaha. I would never have the guts to do that. So scary :(. But we did went and saw one of our friend jump and boy was he ever so brave. Most peeps who did the bungy jump was actually Japanese! Even girls. So brave. *clap hands. They're so determined to go.
I was actually very sick during the trip therefore went to bed very early. Next morning woke up with a massive headache. But it subsided when we're on the bus on the way to the mountain to ski. Apologies again for no pictures during the skiing part. Too exhausted to hold a camera and also my gloves are so hard to even hold something. It was snowing when we got there. Very nice but annoying as well. It snows so much that we got our hair and everything else wet, so, very inconvenient. Skiing is even harder than playing golf! 100 times harder. I fall and trip a lot of times and my body aches a lot right now. Hands, arms, legs and even my butt! First time I fell down was because someone knock me over. Ouchh... 2nd time I fell was because I tried to went "across" the hill but somehow went downhill instead, plus I was going downhill backwards! How epic was that. Therefore, not knowing how to stop, I went straight into a machine and knock myself down and my leg was stuck at the tyres. I nearly broke my leg there. That was the 1st time. The 2nd time I nearly broke my leg was when my friend was skiing and she went downhill and her skis got caught with mine. She turned and so did my leg cause it was stuck there. Oh my gosh, I never knew my leg could bend in such incredible ways. She nearly broke my leg back then. So yea, we didn't ski much due to the bad weather. Snowing very badly so we had to go or else we would be stuck in the mountains. I am actually very relief about that. I didn't really enjoy my skiing at all. :\. Not to mention the boots we had on! Those can really kill! You can barely feel your legs. But all in all, I am still glad I had this experience and maybe in the future, I would have at least more experience about skiing. I am challenged to do it again. :P. Wish me luck on the next time.
XOXO,
Nathalie
