There's being 18th and then there's being supportive of NOH8

Hello my lovely ones. I know I should have blogged on my birthday or even the day after it but as you all know, I always delay rather than being in advance. Apologies for that.

So here I am, to talk about my 18th Birthday!

It was honestly just an ordinary day. But in a very special kind of way. No, I don't get holidays on my birthday unlike Nicole :). No, I don't get to celebrate with most of my dear friends either. Yet, that doesn't necessarily mean I cannot have a good one.

I am honestly content.

If you go on to my Facebook you would probably see the pictures of my presents.

Click HERE to check it out if you haven't already.

But today, I'm not really here to talk about how great or marvelous my birthday was. I am here to tell you that some people actually didn't get to even celebrate their next birthday anymore.

Why?

Let's just say it's all because of US!

Before I continue, I want to clarify that as a Christian I am not suppose to support Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual nor Transgender. And I don't.

But, nevertheless, I do however, support anti-bullying.

Osama Bin Laden, the most terrified terrorist, and most wanted man in the world, is also the biggest bully. This man, not only bullied the Americans but also threaten the world as well. But is he really suppose to be killed? Think again though, if you're the American soldiers who found Osama Bin Laden, you only have two choice, you either kill that man or you bring him to prison or whatever. If I was that soldier, I would probably chose to kill him too.

Yet, to those millions of Americans out there who celebrate his death. What makes you so different from Bin Laden?

The United States went on war with Afghans for almost 10 years. How many innocent people do you think the Americans have killed comparing to 9/11?

I am not saying that I support the terrorist. I am saying this because to celebrate a death of a person is in a lot of ways, disgusting.

Going back to bullying.

Bullies are cowards.

As a victim of being cyber bullied once, I know how torturing it feels to see people trashing you like you don't even worth a single penny. A lot of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people are being hassled every single day by bullies. As I say, I don't support those, but I don't see myself go around bullying others.

As much as you dislike it, we could all do our part by just shutting up. Instead of going up to them and be "Priest-Like" and start saying they are condemned in Hell forever.

Who are you to say people are going to Hell?

How do you know you're going to Heaven?

Does God want you to spread His words by telling people they are burning in Hell or making their lives like a living Hell?

NOH8 is a campaign that supports No Proposition 8.

They also have a "It Gets Better" project. Their aim is for celebrity to stand up against cyber bullying.

Your words can be deadly.

Think before you act or say.

And you can too, stand up for victims by simply showing them that it WILL get better and you are there for them.

A little bit of kindness, goes a long way.

NOH8,
Thalie.C
