Perfect day, perfect wardrobe, perfect car, perfect house, perfect parents, perfect siblings, perfect couples,
Perfect self.
The list of perfectness is just endless.
Perfectness has always been desired by everyone in this world. I mean, who doesn't wanna be perfect? After all, being perfect means we will be liked by everyone and we have a perfect life right?
To me, perfectness just spells pathetic.
I mean, of course, I do aim for perfectness myself. But nothing you EVER do will be EVER perfect. With so many opinions from everyone, you are bound to have a few haters who think you're still not perfect enough no matter what you do.
Perfect also destroys self-confidence.
Think about it, there are SO many descriptions of a perfect boy/girlfriend. You hear it everyday, see it everyday and probably put that in heart already. For example, the notes on Facebook on how boys should act towards their girlfriend. Of course, if you pick up a few hints and their, that would be great. But do you also notice that it has changed everyone's perspective of their own boyfriend?
Why do you wanna compare something that doesn't even exist and ruin your own perspective which at the end would ruin your relationship?
Why does it matter SO much what others think?
Why does it matter to you that your boyfriend didn't accomplish certain stuffs in what the notes says?
Did you love your boyfriend because you expect him to be perfect? Or was it simply because you forgot the fact that you loved him in the first place was all because that you just love the way he is.
Perfectness never existed.
Never does, never will.
Before you start judging yourself again, think about it.
Why won't you love yourself the way you are?
When you realize that, you already realize that you ARE in fact, perfect.
We are all perfect in God's eyes. And it doesn't matter what others think because we know who we are and we would never lose that genuine identity. God created us to be individually special. No one is exactly the same. So why try so hard to be copies when you are an original?
Happiness is just around the corner,
